What you need to know before you apply for the program…

What is the Transformer HCG Program?

The Transformer HCG Program is a 90-Day rapid weight-loss program combined with an education in nutrition. You consume anywhere from 800-1000 calories a day, while taking HCG hormone prescribed by a doctor.

You follow a high-protein, low-calorie diet while you also take lessons in nutrition so you learn how to make smarter choices over time. There are weekly group calls where you can ask anything you like, learn about different subjects and participate in conversations.

The whole program is designed to help you get leaner, stronger, and develop healthier habits by educating you about nutrition, exercise, and behavior change.

The Transformer Program is much more than a diet: it’s an education and a lifestyle change.

Coaching includes help with The Preparation Phase, The Diet Phase (P2), The Transition Phase (P3), and The Maintenance Phase of the HCG diet. We do this so you can slowly transition back to ‘real life’ when the diet is over, with a customized plan so you don’t gain all the weight back.

Is the HCG hormone included?

We don’t provide any supplements or medication. You will need to get a prescription for real HCG from a doctor. If you wish to use homeopathic drops, sprays or pellets or even use Semaglutide you can. We’ve even had clients do the program without any medication at all! They got the same kind of weight loss results and experienced the same kind of hunger levels on our protocol.

Where can I find prescription HCG?

HCGChica has some reputable sources at https://hcgchica.com/buy-hcg-injections-worldwide/

Please note – We are not affiliated with this weight loss clinic in any way. You can also do this program without HCG.

What if I already started HCG - can I still join?

It is best to have everyone start P2 at the same time. However, if you already know how to track macros you can join us even if you’ve started loading or are already on P2. We do have one condition though: we need to spend at least 3 weeks with you on P2 using our protocol, and counting macros.

If you don’t know how to count macros, please take our Eat For Your Goals course and do the 5-Day Challenge before the Transformer Program starts. This is to ensure you will be successful with P3, the transition phase from the low-calorie diet to real life.

How is your protocol different?

We offer a higher-calorie, no off-limits foods approach. You can also continue to exercise if you like (with some conditions). It’s called The HCG Performance Diet, and it works. People report having far more energy and less side effects (such as muscle cramps and headaches) compared to the Simeons Protocol.

Can I use homeopathic drops?

Yes.

What are some realistic expectations for someone who has never done HCG before?

The HCG Diet doesn’t reset your metabolism or hypothalamus like Dr Simeons claimed. Your new set point can only be maintained with new nutrition and exercise habits.

HCG also doesn’t draw fat from abnormal areas. Where you lose fat is genetically predetermined. However, you will lose pounds and inches throughout your body.

Expect the diet to be harder than you think, but the weight loss will be faster than you’ve ever imagined.

Is there anyone who shouldn't do the HCG diet?

Yes! If you have a history of cancer, gallstones, or are pregnant. Also, because the diet is so restrictive, anyone with an eating disorder should avoid it.

How tech savvy do I have to be?

Coaching is done via Zoom, so you will need a video camera and microphone on your tablet or computer. You’ll also need to be able to open and send email attachments, and upate a simple spreadsheet with your weight and macros each week. You’ll also need to download an app called MyFitnessPal to your phone so you can track your food.

What makes you an expert?

After struggling with my own weight for many years, I tried the HCG Diet and lost 27 pounds. The first time I did it, I followed the original 500-calorie Simeons Protocol. I was rarely hungry, and I lost a lot of weight rapidly. I then regained all the weight I lost because I didn’t know how to maintain it.

Years later, after learning more about nutrition and fitness, I went back to the HCG diet because it had worked so well. However, I was much more knowledgeable about nutrition science and flexible dieting, so  I applied everything I’d learned and developed my own higher-calorie protocol. I called it The HCG Performance Diet. This higher-calorie, muscle-sparing protocol allowed me to exercise, eat a variety of foods, and consume about 1000 calories a day. I lost 27 pounds, and roughly 0.5 pounds a day.

Since then, I’ve become an ACE-certified health coach with a specialty in weight management. I’ve written a book called The HCG Diet: Fact and Fiction, and published research on the HCG diet. I’ve also coached hundreds of clients in my protocol. I am currently studying to become a nutritionist. My coaches are also certified nutrition coaches and personal trainers.

Who is your typical client?

Women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who have done multiple rounds of HCG only to have the weight come back on.

How much does it cost?

The Transformer is $1499, one-time payment. If you wish to pay monthly, the cost is $599 per month x 3 months.

Do you offer refunds?

Please read our refund policy here. https://www.adelefrizzell.com/program-policies/

Is private coaching available?

Actually, this IS 75% private coaching. Your diet plan is personalized to you, along with weekly checkins and coaching support. The only group aspect is the weekly group calls where we cover different topics and focus on a lot of mindset stuff. The group calls are extremely valuable and you can listen to the replays if you can’t make it.

Private coaching calls are available on a very limited basis but rarely needed (1% of cases) because the program is so thorough.

Can I do this program while I'm on the Simeons Protocol?

Yes, but we REALLY don’t recommend it. You will also need to be under a doctor’s care if you are following the Simeon’s 500-calorie protocol.

We actually recommend using our higher-calorie, muscle-sparing protocol. It is just as effective for those who are interested in rapid fat loss and you’ll probably feel better! Plus there are fewer health risks and issues such as leg cramping, hair loss and more.

How long is P2?

You can finish P2 whenever you like. We let people do 3 weeks to 3 months as long as they feel good and their doctor approves a longer round. People have different amounts of weight that they want to lose, and we treat everyone’s journey as unique.

Can I do P2 on my own and P3 with you?

Unfortunately, no. We need to spend at least 3 weeks together in P2. We do P2 together so we can set you up for a successful transition to real life by learning about habit change, how to count macros, and reintroducing new foods and exercise.

I'm a vegetarian. Can I do the Transformer Program?

Yes, we usually get one vegetarian and if you are willing to consume one or all of the following in addition to soy and plant products you’ll be fine:
  1. egg whites
  2. dairy
  3. fish
It is very difficult to meet the protein requirements of the protocol without this. Please be aware that your carbohydrate needs will be higher in order to extract enough protein, and this can result in less overall weight loss.

Other Questions about the Transformer HCG Program

Can I take HCG when I have my period?

There seems to be no consensus here. Clients with a heavy menstrual cycle may stop taking it on their heaviest days while others will continue taking HCG daily throughout their cycle. It is best to ask your doctor.

Can I really eat anything on P2?

Yes. One of our sayings is, “No Bad Foods”. We’ve had people eat sweet potato on P2, or mix their vegetables, or have some clottage cheese or quinoa or different fruit than what’s normally allowed on the Simeons Protocol. And they still lose weight as long as they follow their macros.

Can I exercise on HCG?

Yes, but you may have to dial back the intensity or frequency, and we don’t recommend starting a vigorous new exercise program while on P2. Daily walking and weight training 2-3x a week is ideal. Running is not recommended as it could lead to muscle loss and hunger spikes when you’re in such a big calorie deficit. Feel free to ask us for more information if you have any questions about this.

Can I get more coaching after the program ends?

Yes, many of our Transformer Grads enroll in The NEW You Program afterward. For details, visit https://www.thenewyouprogram.com

Do you accept HSA/FSA?

Yes, we can accept HSA/FSA payments for our coaching programs if your physician has prescribed this program as treatment for a specific disease such as obesity, hypertension, or heart disease. You may need to get a letter of approval and we are happy to provide you with one upon request. Please contact support@AdeleFrizzell.com for further information.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

On average, you can expect to lose about a quarter to half a pound a day. Most women can lose about 10-20 pounds in a month on P2 and a bit more during P3. Leaner individuals and those with PCOS or hypothyroidism may lose less.

It really depends on how much you have to lose and how accurate and consistent you are with following the protocol; We’ve had clients lose 6 pounds in 2 months and others lose 40 in 2 months.

It’s important to note that any diet should be focused on fat loss, not weight loss. The #1 goal is preserve as much muscle as possible so your metabolism doesn’t slow down. Your clothes should start fitting better right away.

*We cannot guarantee specific results for clients. Fat loss and muscle gain will vary with each individual. Influencing factors include age, gender, health conditions, hormone function, activity levels, stress, quality of sleep, body fat percentage, accuracy in tracking, exercise type, and commitment to coaching and following instructions.

Will you coach me through a round of HCG and P3?

Yes, we will coach through all phases of the HCG diet and into maintenance.

We’ll also give you a plan when the program ends, so you know just what to do to maintain your weight loss.

Should I be loaded and ready to start P2 on or before the start of the program?

Please wait until the program starts.

Can I wear makeup and lotion on your protocol?

Yes! Unlike the Simeons Protocol, our clients can wear makeup and skin lotion while in P2.

Can I do this program with the Wagovy / Semiglutide / Mounjaro / Tirzepatide medication?

We think it’s an excellent idea. Unfortunately, when people lose weight on Wagovy / Semiglutide / Mounjaro / Tirzepatide on their own they can do it in an unhealthy manner which means they can potentially lose a lot of muscle and compromise their health. Plus they don’t make any real lifestyle changes to optimize other aspects of their health and well-being.

I have done HCG before but once I came off I regained the weight. How can working with you help prevent that from happening again?

You can lose weight on the HCG Diet, but if you don’t have a plan for when the diet ends you’ll be right back where you started.

The fact is diets do work, in the short-term. But what happens when the diet ends? You’re back to where you started! Why? Because you haven’t changed the habits that caused you to gain weight in the first place. You’re set up to fail from the beginning! It’s not your fault, and this is why so many people struggle with yo-yo dieting and end up doing multiple rounds of HCG.

A diet isn’t a lifestyle. You can’t deny yourself the foods you enjoy forever. Eventually, you need to go back to real life and eat like a normal human being. This is when most people run into problems. They don’t know how to eat at a restaurant. How to eat on the go. How to still indulge in treats without gaining weight. We can teach you how to eat in a way that fuels your activities, food preferences, and lifestyle.

Until you learn how to eat in a way that is enjoyable, sustainable, and healthy, you’re going to stay trapped in the same vicious loop of losing and gaining weight. You don’t have to accept that this is the body you will be stuck in for the rest of your life. If you want to change it, you can. You just need to find the right combination of nutrition, activity, and habits for YOUR body.

Do you recommend adding in the MIC/B12 shots along with HCG? I'm just looking for your opinion, I realize you're not a doctor.

The science behind these injections is mixed. Clinical studies on lipotropics and obesity have remained inconclusive. Also, according to the Mayo Clinic, vitamin shots such as B12 haven’t proven to be effective in weight loss management because they don’t provide the metabolic boost that many practitioners promise.

If you do lose some weight from the injections, this is likely attributed to your overall weight loss program than it is to the shots alone.

Here is an article worth reading about the mic shots. You can weigh the pros and cons for yourself.

https://www.healthline.com/health/lipotropic-injections#side-effects-and-precautions

My opinion is that you will do just as well, and experience many more health benefits if you were to drink a lot of water and walk every day (which is recommended in the program). These are also the exact same healthy habits that will help you keep the weight off after P2 ends, so might as well get started now!

Now, if you don’t mind the expense of mic shots, and you don’t see yourself getting in 30 mins of walking a day, you could do the shots, just keep the risk/reward ratio in mind and please discuss this with your doctor.

Is the HCG portion the 21 day program?

P2 (the HCG portion) can last as long as you like or have medication. Some people do P2 for 21 days, and some do it for 60 days. A few clients have even remained on P2 for the entire 90 day Transformer Program, and then enrolled in The NEW You Program to help them transition to real life.

Staying on P2 longer than 60 day is not recommended but if larger clients have their doctor’s approval, are highly motivated to keep going, and feel good (energy, mood, etc) we will support them.

Once you are done with P2, we will reverse diet you by upping your calories each week until you are consuming the highest possible calories you can eat without gaining weight. This process normally takes about 4-6 weeks. Everyone is on different timelines and as coaches, we always try to meet people where they’re at.

What if I don’t get my HCG in time for when the program starts?

If your HCG hasn’t arrived by the time the program begins, that’s perfectly fine. You can still get started while you wait for your prescription to arrive.

Does part of the coaching tell me exactly what to eat each day, beyond macros? i.e. salad for lunch, soup for dinner?

We don’t. Only registered dietitians can legally provide meal plans. And besides, meal plans are rarely one-size fits all.

While meal plans make it easy to follow – you just shop for groceries and prepare food accordingly, they don’t really teach you how to eat in the long run. What happens when you don’t have a plan to follow anymore? When you go out to dinner? Vacation?

It takes a bit more work to figure out how to eat in a way that is normal, enjoyable, and sustainable for you but it is worth the investment. This is because the more your diet resembles real life, the easier it will be to do “real life” when the diet ends.
